ABOUT PATRIOT BATTERY METALS

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. is a hard-rock lithium exploration company focused on advancing its district-scale 100% owned Corvette Property located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, Canada, and proximal to regional road and powerline infrastructure. The Corvette Property hosts the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite with a maiden inferred mineral resource estimate of 109.2 Mt at 1.42% Li2O and 160 ppm Ta2O5 (at a cut-off of 0.40% Li2O) and ranks as the largest lithium pegmatite resource in the Americas based on contained LCE, and one of the top 10 largest lithium pegmatite resources in the world. Additionally, the Corvette Property hosts multiple other spodumene pegmatite clusters that remain to be drill tested, as well as more than 20 km of prospective trend that remain to be assessed.

Mr. Boivin is a seasoned lawyer with over 40 years of experience in business law notably in the natural resources sector. He has practiced the last 23 years at McCarthy Tétrault and is currently acting as counsel, National Leader of the Africa Group and Quebec Leader of the Global Metals and Mining Group of the firm. He has been repeatedly recognized over the years as a leading Canadian lawyer in various fields and publications. Mr. Boivin has served on various profit and non-profit boards of directors over the years including currently Export Development Canada (EDC), Development Finance Institute Canada Inc. (FinDev Canada) and NSIA Participations (Ivory Coast) as a nominee of the National Bank of Canada. He is also a member of the Governance Committee of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, is a graduate of the Canadian Institute of Directors and has received an ESG Global Competent Boards designation.

KEN BRINSDEN

Mr Brinsden is a Mining Engineer with approximately 30 years’ experience in surface and underground mining operations, including roles in mine management, production, brownfields and green-fields development roles, Executive and Board across multi-commodities.

Mr Brinsden joined Pilbara Minerals as Chief Executive Officer in January 2016, was appointed Managing director and CEO in May 2016 and led the rapid development of the Company from Junior Explorer to become one of the world’s leading lithium raw materials players and entry to the ASX 100.

Mr. Way is an experienced international executive with over 30 years management experience within the resources and construction industry throughout Australasia, Canada, the United States and Europe. Mr Way has experience in a wide range of commodities including gold, copper, nickel, zinc, magnesium, graphite, cobalt and lithium.

Mr Way was most recently CEO, President and Director of TSXV listed Leading Edge Materials for over 5 years. Prior to that he was VP Project Development for TSX listed Ventana Gold. Prior to Ventana he was Project Director and President for Oceanagold Philippines. Mr Way was Project Director – Major Projects for BHP Billiton.

Mr. Way holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada, a MBA from the University of Queensland, Australia, and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

BRIAN JENNINGS

Director

Mr. Jennings is a Chartered Accountant and geologist with 30 years of experience working as a senior financial executive and corporate restructuring professional. Mr. Jennings is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Generation Mining Limited which is developing a palladium – copper project in Marathon, Ontario.

He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of several public junior mining and technology companies during his career and spent nine years with Ernst & Young where he was Vice-President Corporate Restructuring and involved in several high-profile Canadian corporate restructurings.

Mélissa Desrochers

Director

Ms. Desrochers is an experienced consultant with a background in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for major and complex projects within the Quebec mining industry. Her expertise lies in communications, government relations and enhancing companies Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities. Her previous work experience includes Director of Government Relations and External Communication for Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, Communications and Community Relations Manager for Canadian Malartic Mine, and formerly co-owning a communications firm for several years in which she worked closely with stakeholders from the natural resources sector.

Ms. Desrochers studied communications, Indigenous affairs, management and holds a Graduate degree in Project Management from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She is an Independent Director for O3 Mining Inc., a gold exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, and a member of Autorités des marches financiers (AMF) Mining Advisory Committee.

NATACHA GAROUTE

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Garoute is an experienced executive with over 20 years of experience in publicly traded and mining companies with international exposure. She most recently held the position of CFO at Champion Iron Ore (ASX 200 & TSX) and was CFO and Corporate Secretary with Roxgold Inc. (TSX) between 2013 and 2018. Throughout her career, Ms. Garoute led the Finance and Information Technology functions, including tax and treasury. She also has expertise in Project Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations. 

Ms. Garoute, CPA holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Montreal. She is an Independent Director and member of the Audit Committee of Aya Gold and Silver Inc., a silver producer listed on the TSX.

DARREN L. SMITH

M.Sc., P.Geo.

Vice President of Exploration

With more than 17 years experience in the industry, Mr. Smith specializes in high-level project management including program design and implementation, technical reporting, land management, community engagement, and technical disclosure. He has provided technical oversight for PEA, PFS, and FS level projects as well as complex metallurgical programs.

Mr. Smith’s experience includes carbonatite complexes & associated metals (Ta, Nb, Sc, REEs), Li (brine, sediment, pegmatite), Co, U, phosphate, fluorspar, as well as base & precious metals. In 2009, Darren & his team discovered one of the world’s largest REE deposits (Ashram), and in 2017 discovered the Corvette lithium pegmatite district, where one of the largest lithium pegmatites in the world  (CV5) has been defined through drilling by the Company.

ALIX DRAPACK

VP Environment, Social and Governance

Ms. Alix Drapack, P.Eng., MBA, ICD.D, is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in managing mining, environmental and transportation / infrastructure projects in Canada and the USA, spanning operations, consulting, and corporate office settings.

Ms. Drapack was the Chief Sustainability Officer for Osisko Mining Inc. where her portfolio included health & safety, environment, human resources, and indigenous and community relations. During her time at Osisko she focused on permitting the Windfall Lake Project in Northern Quebec and initiated and led the combined federal and provincial environmental assessment process for the Hammond Reef Gold Project in Ontario, a proposed 30,000t per day open pit gold mine near Atikokan Ontario which included permitting involving impacts to fish bearing waterbodies with the federal Department of Fisheries and Ocean (DFO).

GREG BARFOOT

VP Project Development

Mr. Barfoot is an experienced project management professional with an extensive international background in all phases of project development from concept to operations. This includes delivery of projects up to $6.5 billion in total invested capital across a diverse range of commodities and locations. Over the past 25 years Mr. Barfoot has held senior project development roles with BHP, SNC Lavalin and Fluor. Most recently, he spent eight years based in Canada managing the infrastructure development for the BHP Jansen Potash Mine in Saskatchewan. Mr. Barfoot holds a Master of Business Administration from Curtain University, Perth, a Master of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Technology Sydney.

BRADLEY SEWARD

VP Investor Relations

Mr. Seward is an experienced capital markets professional with extensive knowledge within the critical minerals sector, having worked across Equity Research, Syndication and Sales, finishing his tenure at the helm of Macquarie’s Critical Minerals and Energy Emerging Companies Sales. Mr. Seward started his career at Patersons Securities (now Canaccord Australia) working in both Mining Equity Research and Institutional Equities Sales and Origination.

BRETT GROSVENOR

Metallurgy and Processing Head Consultant

Mr. Grosvenor brings compliance and development experience with over 25 years’ experience in the Mining, Minerals and Power industries. Mr. Grosvenor is currently an Non-Executive Director at Perpetual Resources
(ASX:PEC) and recently left the Board of Primero Group (ASX:PGX) after a successful sale of PGX for $100m. In conjunction to the board roles, Brett has held senior roles in Primero and major national and international companies such as Alstom, Laing O’Rourke, Sinclair Knight Mertz and Alinta Energy.

Mr. Grosvenor has been instrumental in the strategic transition of Primero Group from a privately held business into an ASX listed entity, through to the sale to NRW Holdings in January 2021. With tertiary qualifications in Engineering, a Master Degree in Business and a Graduate of ACID, Mr. Grosvenor provides strategic and operational input based upon sound technical execution experience.
