The Board of Directors and Management Team are committed to good governance policies and practices. This ensures that the Board and Management have clear, shared objectives that have been communicated to stakeholders and an effective strategy for achieving those goals.
Patriot’s corporate governance practices comply with UL 2723 ECOLOGO® requirements and those defined by the Canadian Securities Administrators, including National Policy 58-201 Corporate Governance Guidelines and National Instrument 58-101 Disclosure of Corporate Governance Practices.
Patriot is committed to regularly reviewing its policies and practices to improve its governance structure in line with evolving best practices and regulatory requirements.
Commitments
The Board of Directors has approved several policies and monitors their implementation.
- Patriot’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct applies to employees, officers and directors, as well as contractors and consultants. It sets out standards of ethics, honesty and integrity.
- The Company does not tolerate fraudulent or corrupt conduct, as stated in its Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy.
- The Whistleblower Policy encourages employees, officers, directors, contractors and consultants to raise anonymously concerns without fear of reprisal. Impartial investigation mechanisms are also in place.
